*Neither of these words have the meaning that we might assume, according to a reference that I use, turtle (probably a turtle dove) is found in Song of Solomon 2:12 and Jeremiah 8:7 while unicorn is found in Num.23:22. 24:8, Job 39:9, 39:10, Psalms 29:6, & 92:10
The behemoth in question 7 and described by God to Job is subject of disagreement by scholars. Some say it might a hippo, some a water ox, and even some say an elephant. Dr. Bert Thompson says that he thinks chief of the ways of God, makes him the largest animal created by God. He also maintains that the phrase “his strength is in his loins” means that this animal routinely stood on his rear legs. Also, how does either of the animals suggested above, “move his tail as a cedar tree”? Read the passage and decide for yourself. (smile)
