1. GOD SAVES US. 1 Timothy 4:10 “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
2. CHRIST SAVES US. Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
3. WE ARE SAVED BY CHRIST’S LIFE. Romans 5:10 “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” (By following His example.)
4. WE ARE SAVED BY CHRIST’S BLOOD. Romans 5:9 “Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
5. WE ARE SAVED BY THE GOSPEL. 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”
6. WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE AND FAITH. Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
7. WE ARE SAVED BY HOPE. Romans 8:24 “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?”
8. WE ARE SAVED BY WORDS. Acts 11:14 “Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.” (Obviously, Words of the doctrine of Christ.)
9. WE ARE SAVED BY CALLING ON THE NAME OF THE LORD. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (We call on the Lord through obedience.)
10. WE ARE SAVED BY BAPTISM. 1 Peter 3:21 “The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a  good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:”
11. WE SAVE OURSELVES Acts 2:40 “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.” (By obedience!)
12. THEREFORE, WE ARE JUSTIFIED (SAVED) BY OUR RIGHTEOUS WORKS. James 2:24 “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”
